ImagePro 7's density measurement functions are intended for CT images and measure density there in Houndsfield units. However, the density measurement functions can also be applied to non-CT images. These measurements are performed with the unit “pixel value” (abbreviated with “pv”). Measurements using the ROI (region of interest) function calculates these pixel values incorrectly for non-CT images.
